When Australia beat pakistan in T20 2010 Semifinal 2, it was match to watch out for….

Here I would like to recall the conversation we had with one of my friend “Apurva Badheka” , doctor by profession. We often tease him for being Aussie fan.

Below are few of the lines directly taken from his emails to us some 31/2 years back

“I have always been criticised for bein an oz supporter. i just wanted to let u know why i do
that. not bcoz aus is the best team in the world. an india/pak has more talent than an entire aus in
its smallest borough.
aus plays the game with 110% dedication. u wil never
find them loose imp matches for the lack of a fight.
they wil bleed til they are dry and then ask for
transfusion so that they can bleed more. thats the
spirit i have always espoused in life for myself.
a sachin wil never equal a waugh. no1 can play the
match from dead end hopeless situations like the tugga.
no1 can finish off the match no matter how long the
odds like a bevan. no1 can maintain composure and keep
bowling unerrin line and length like a mcgrath.
no1 can have more deliveries in an over like a warne.
no combo of openers can instil a sense of rock solid
stability and fear like gilly and haydos.

Hats off to Australia and Hats off to Apurva as well……..Apu the Doc…

I am now an avid aussie fan dude….Der aaye par durast aaye….
